Membership to the club is $30 for Swinburne Students and $80 for Non Swinburne student, membership includes a club shirt and discount cards.
To secure your place on one of our fab snow trips Make certain you have joined the club and bring a $100 deposit to secure your place per trip.
Trip dates
SnowFest 17/7 to 19/7 @ Falls Creek $300
2 days Skiing/Boarding+Lessons. 2 nights off Mt accommodation. Most meals and Transport included. Great Weekend for those new to the sport and a chance to meet & make friends with other Swinburne students (30 places)
Vic Iv 23/7 to the 26/7 @ Mt Buller $400
3 nights on Mt accommodation. 4 day Lift ticket with race training and 2 race entry. Social pass to party with other Universities while on mountain plus all meals. Great for those students who have never competed at the snow but want to make that next step. This trip also has the biggest night life of all the SUSS snow trips. accepting all levels

3 days Skiing/Boarding+Lessons. 2 nights on Mt accommodation. Most meals and Transport included. (20 places and will be run if all trips book out)

Party Cruise - 23rd of April
(330 people max)
The more people we get on this the more money we have to subsidies our snow trips so anyone willing to volunteer to help sell tickets is welcome. Email Meagan@suss.org.au
Snow Day - 6th of May
12 tons of snow will be dumped at uni for us to play in. Bring your board and skies (and your shovels).
Pre Season Party - 7th of May

Booking Night - 13th of May
So bring $100 deposit to secure a spot on one of the many snow trips. Trip dates and prices are yet to be confirmed but we are planning 2 competitive trips and 3 social trips.

July – Snow Fest at Falls Creek and Victorian Intervarsity Championships at Mt Buller
August - Snow Bunnies at Mt Hotham and Resussit8 at Falls Creek

Other events planned by SUSS are; Warren Miller Movie Night TBA, Snow Ball Date TBA, plus many other events run by our sister clubs at Monash, Latrobe and Melbourne uni.

***COMMITTEE POSITIONS***
PRESIDENT:
Leads the committee by outlining goals and objectives, sets the vision and strategy for his/her term. Ensures that all members of the committee are up to date with what is required by them at all times. Chairs committee meetings and is responsible for compiling the agenda prior to meetings. Liaises with Swinergy and the University in all matters regarding SUSS.
VICE PRESIDENT:
The Vice presidents' position is to assist the President when required and actively contribute ideas toward the clubs direction. The Vice President is also responsible for standing in whenever the President is unavailable or unwell or undertaking other duties during a trip.
TREASURER:
This position looks after the financial aspects of the club, which includes analysing the monthly reports from Swinergy and formulating Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements and reports.
SECRETARY:
The role of the Secretary is to assist in the preparation of the agenda, take the minutes of all the meeting and circulate them to all members. The Secretary should also maintain a calendar of all events trips and activities.
SPONSORSHIP:
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and retail outlets as well as venues for events. This position is the cash cow for the club and we reap extreme benefits from this. At this point in time there are a number of relationships set up however we always want more and therefore will take much time and effort to maintain these relationships.
INTER-VASITY COORDINATOR:
Responsible for Victorian Intervarsity Championships, Australian University Championships and Room Rail Jam.
MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR:
Anything about membership with the club
SOCIAL COORDINATOR:
Work with the President and your Social Committee to get ideas on when to run social events and who to collaborate with i.e. other Swinny clubs, or other clubs etc. Be ORGANISED. Plan a calendar of events for the year and STICK TO IT. Advertise, advertise, and advertise. With the help of Communications make every event known about in advance well in advance. Design posters for events and be available with information about what’s going on for anyone who has questions.
COMMUNICATIONS
Communications handles emails, announcements and newsletters for the club
WEBMASTER:
Develop and maintain the website with Web Site Assistants. Making sure that the site is up to date and contains accurate information for our members.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE:

LILYDALE/PRAHRAN/CROYDON/WANTRINA REPRESENTATIVES:
Promote the club in the outer suburbs. Look for events that may interest SUSS and help us get some new members!

The Best trip is still available the Victorian Intervaristy Games at Mt Buller. This trip includes entry into 2 races, Social pass to the parties and accommodation.
